Alec Baldwin Hosts NFL Honors and EH Conservators

Just when we thought Alec Baldwin might slow down following the final episode of 30-Rock, the Amagansett actor maintains his crown as The Hamptons‘ busiest celeb.
Baldwin is hosting the NFL Honors tonight, the night before the Super Bowl, and he’s scheduled to speak at the East Hampton Conservators‘ winter gathering next Saturday, February 9. As a founding member and the man who conceived the Conservators, he is expected to speak to East Hampton Town residents about environmental and local issues from 6-8 p.m. at the Huntting Inn on Main Street in East Hampton Village. Along with Baldwin‘s comments, guests will enjoy wine and hors d’oeuvres, as well as a discussion about various important matters, including preserving the environment and the history and quality of life in East Hampton.
The Democratic-leaning East Hampton Conservators is, according their mission statement on easthamptonconservators.com, East Hampton’s first Political Action Committee (PAC). “Our mission is to control development, protect the environment and pure drinking water, and preserve open space, historic legacy, and quality of life in the Town of East Hampton through vigilance, public education and the election of candidates with a proven record of dedication to environmental protection and good government,” the site explains.
Admission to the event is free, but guests must RSVP to info@easthamptonconservators.com.
It’s nice to see that no matter how brightly his star shines, Baldwin continues to support the arts and local and international causes.
