Designer Kate Spade has put her Southampton mansion up for sale.

The 6,700-square foot home on just shy of 3 acres was once the boardinghouse for renowned painter William Merritt Chase‘s Art Village, a summer school for art based in Shinnecock Hills. The Art Village is still a unique destination and all the shingle-style cottages surrounding the original studio remain intact, complete with narrow lanes and huge 100-year-old trees.

Spade‘s property, 9 Studio Lane, is the largest in the Art Village and it features rambling gables, leaded glass windows and deep porches.
