Lola Schnabel's Tripoli Gallery Show Extended in NYC

Within Reach, Lola Montes Schnabel‘s exhibition at Tripoli Patterson‘s pop-up gallery space in Manhattan, will be extended through February 16th, 2013.

Schnabel is showing a series of oils and watercolors, which evoke oceanic realms with landscapes and figures, and one painting leading to the next. The artist and Montauk resident uses medieval yellow and crimson in vignettes, frozen in time, that speak to her strong background in filmmaking.

A closing reception is being held on Wednesday, February 13 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Tripoli, located at 980 Madison Avenue, 3rd Floor, in NYC.
