Rory Culkin Filming in Sag Harbor This Week
Rory Culkin, the 23-year-old actor and younger brother of actors McCauly Culkin (Home Alone, Party Monster) and Kieran Culkin (Igby Goes Down) is shooting an independent feature film, Gabriel, in the Sag Harbor area on Wednesday and Thursday, February 27-28, this week and he needs extras to join him on set.
Gabriel‘s title character, played by Culkin, is a mentally ill 20-year-old who is tired of living in a home, so he gets permission to visit his family in Connecticut, which includes his brother Matthew, mother Meredith and grandmother Noni. However, Gabriel has a completely different agenda—he has become obsessed with reuniting with Alice, his childhood girlfriend and the one person he believes can fix his damaged life.
The film, directed by Lou Howe (West Side Stories), is still seeking extras for shoots in Sag Harbor on Wednesday and Thursday. They have asked for people of all ages, genders and ethnicities, and no experience is necessary.

Rory Culkin starred dozens of films, including Scream 4, Lymelife with Amagansett‘s Alec Baldwin and M. Night Shyamalan‘s Signs, alongside Mel Gibson and Joaquin Phoenix.
Culkin and his Gabriel costars also filmed at the home of Anna Boylan on Ostrander Avenue in Riverhead on Monday and Tuesday. The film is due to be released sometime next year.
