Ross School Handbag Auction Is a Hit

The Ross School Parents Association’s first Pre-owned Designer Handbag Silent Auction and Cocktail Party was a huge success. Held on Thursday, January 31 at Osteria Salina in Bridgehampton, the event raised more than $5,000, which will benefit the school-enhancing initiatives of the Ross PA.
“The PA has never had an event like this and never raised this much money at once!” said Ross parent Barrie Glabman, one of almost 60 people in attendance.
The inaugural event featured a silent auction of 41 gently used designer handbags, including an Escada that was previously owned by Julie Andrews and a Louis Vuitton that was originally a gift from Oprah.
The Ross School is holding an Admissions Reception on Tuesday, February 5.
