AFTEE Concert Approved in Riverhead

The Town of Riverhead has approved All For The East End‘s (AFTEE) application to hold its inaugural fundraising concert on Monday, August 19 at Martha Clara Vineyards. The concert will benefit a new East End Fund.
The Board of Directors of AFTEE, a 50l-c-3 not-for-profit organization, recently presented its plan to the Town of Riverhead and met extensively with the Chief of Police and the Fire Marshall to insure a carefully organized event.
“The Town of Riverhead is very pleased to have AFTEE’s first concert here in our town. It is a local initiative that will benefit our not-for-profit community and we look forward to what will surely be a successful event,” Riverhead Town Supervisor Sean Walter said.
AFTEE is planning a fun filled, dancing day-long music festival. On Monday, August 19, 2013 Martha Clara Vineyards will be THE place to be. It will kick off in the morning with music, song, dancing and activities showcasing our East End not-for-profits and entertaining activities for families of young children and teens. Starting at 6 p.m., everyone arrives for the main event—A Music Concert Dance Party for all above 21 produced by the famous Nile Rogers. There will be food, fun and most of all great dance music played by artists you know. But, that’s the surprise. AFTEE will announce more specifics in the early spring.
AFTEE fundraising is in full swing and more than $150,000 has been committed to date. The Eastern Long Island Hospital Foundation, Peconic Bay Medical Foundation, Norsic and Son, Ben Krupinski Builders, Riverhead Building Supply and Sotheby’s International Realty join founding sponsor Bridgehampton National Bank, Dan’s Papers, the Long Island Community Foundation, Martha Clara Vineyards, PURE Insurance, Southampton Hospital Foundation, Tanger Outlets and Weber + Grahn.
“This is a gratifying and very encouraging start,” visionary and president of the AFTEE board Myron Levine said. “We hope to have many more businesses and individuals join us in our efforts. Sponsorship will cover the cost of the concert, with ticket sales helping to deliver the profit that will start the new fund. That fund will help to financially aid, strengthen and support the not-for-profit community of the five East End towns.”
Sponsors receive major visibility at the concert and the opportunity to entertain customers and friends in a VIP and VVIP environments, complete with great food and beverage coordinated by Hampton Event Management—the same organization responsible for All For The Sea and Ladles of Love. VIP sponsor levels start at $1,000 and Business Sponsorships at $5,000.
Individual VIP tickets and general admission tickets will go on sale after the concert lineup is announced later in the year. For more information about sponsorship or how to get involved, email AFTEE executive director Mary Morgan at mary@aftee.org or call 631-599-9297.
All For The East End is a 501(c)(3) non-profit establishment whose primary purpose is to raise awareness of the role not-for-profit organizations play in making the east end of Long Island one of the most desirable places to live in the world, and to establish a fund of new money that they will have access to through a grant process. The Long Island Community Foundation will manage and administer the disbursement of funds obtained through AFTEE’s efforts. There are over 1,075 registered 501(c)(3) organizations in the East End towns.
