Kayaker Saves Opossum

Eric Markt came across this opossum as he was kayaking in Biscayne Bay, off the coast of Miami, Florida. She swam right up to his kayak. When Markt first pulled her on my boat (by the tail) she hissed at him, so he brushed her off. But she kept swimming around him so Markt pulled her on a second time, and she was on best behavior during the ride to shore.
