Late Night With Howard Stern? Doubtful
Because he successfully won over viewers as a judge on America’s Got Talent, rumors spread that South Fork resident Howard Stern was being groomed to take fellow East Ender Jimmy Fallon’s late-night talk show seat on NBC, but The King of All Media flatly denies the claims.
Last week Stern told his SiriusXM radio audience that it was insulting to suggest he would fill Fallon‘s seat after Fallon moves on to replace Jay Leno. ” I’m, like, the biggest guy in radio. I’ve done film. I’ve done television … they act like I’m some kind of f____g beginner or something. Maybe if I’m really nice to NBC they’ll let me take over Carson Daly‘s show at like 2 o’clock in the morning,” Stern said.
Fallon reportedly makes $5 million per year for his gig on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, while Stern earns $400 million per year hosting his show on SiriusXM radio.
