Local Firefighters Battle Massive Blaze in Noyac

Here are some stunning pictures of a massive 10,000-square-foot Noyac mansion that caught fire around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Firefighters from almost all the local departments fought the blaze for three hours, and they were continuing to pour water on the house as of 2:35 p.m., according to a representative from the Sag Harbor Fire Department, who also noted that the floors had collapsed inside. He noted that East Hampton, Amagansett, North Sea, Bridgehampton, Southampton and Springs fire departments were all assisting in the effort to stop the fire.
Smoke poured from the home, located at 60 Fourteen Hills Court, and could be seen from the air on the North Fork and from North Haven. An assessment of damage to the $6 million property was not immediately available on Tuesday afternoon.
