"Montauk Chronicles" Release Set for June

The first in a series of new trailers for Chrisopher P. Garetano‘s film Montauk Chronicles, about the famous Montauk Project conspiracy, appeared on YouTube last Friday, March 8. Garetano also confirmed June 4 as the new release date for the film on DVD and Blue-Ray.
Montauk Chronicles has been in the works for a couple years, but the movie‘s release has been delayed several times. The film was supposed to debut on May 25, 2012 with a screening at Gurney’s Inn, but the release was moved to December and now June. Let’s hope Garetano pulls through and we finally get to see this much anticipated and long-awaited docu-drama.
According to the film’s official website, Montauk Chronicles tells the story of three men who claim they were brainwashed and forced against their will by a clandestine organization to take part in secret experiments and “evil atrocities” that are said to have occurred deep beneath the surface of the Camp Hero Air Force base in Montauk.
Alfred Bielek, Stewart Swerdlow and Preston Nichols (author of infamous tome The Montauk Project) all tell tales of experiments that were conducted on nearly 100,000 people over the course of about 10 years. Kidnappings, murder, torture, time travel, mind control and extra terrestrial contact are all said to have occurred at Camp Hero.
“Montauk Chronicles is the very first and honest (cinematic) examination of the Camp Hero legends. It raises many questions of our place in the universe and what the future may hold for humanity. It’s an entertaining journey into the unknown and a study of fear, lies, paranoia and the truth,” mtkchronicles.com‘s “About” page explains.
Hopefully we’ll get another interview with the filmmaker closer to the release of Montauk Chronicles this spring.
Here’s the trailer.
