Amagansett Sea Salt Among Ina Garten's Local Food Heroes

Set your DVR to the Food Network this Saturday at 11:00 a.m. and catch Amagansett Sea Salt Co. featured on Barefoot Contessa with Hamptons celebrity chef Ina Garten!

The episode is appropriately titled “Local Food Heroes” and should have a number of East End guests as Garten takes inspiration from the fabulous food found in the Hamptons to create new recipes in a piece for her Barefoot blog. She makes Salmon and Guacamole Sandwiches, Salted Caramel Brownies and Balsamic Roasted Beet Salad.

Amagansett Sea Salt Co. filmed their short segment for Barefoot Contessa on the coldest day of the year. It was so frigid that ice was forming in the buckets of sea water Amagansett Sea Salt owner Steven Judelson collected from the ocean. Hopefully all of their shivering was edited out and everybody looks great!
