If You Think Hamptons Cops are Overpaid, Wait Until You See What Dubai Cops are Driving
Whatcha gonna do, whatcha gonna do when they come for you?
In a Ferrari.
It’s good to be a police officer in Dubai. The Dubai police department recently bought a Lamborghini and a Ferrari as part of their patrol. Lt. Gen. Dahi Khalfan Tamim, Dubai’s police chief, stated that the purpose of the cars were to reflect Dubai’s affluent reputation.
Right…that and you also like having police powers and a $500,000 car to tool around in as fast as you’d like it to go. The only thing missing from this Ferrari to make it more ridiculous is for it to be made out of diamonds so that it’s more bullet proof. Such unbelievable waste. Just ewww.
Who the hell gets their police department a freaking Ferrari and a Lamborghini to pull people over in? Dubai does.
Maybe if the budget issues for Suffolk County ever subside, there could be room for a few Ferrari’s in some of the police budgets in the Hamptons. Now that I think about it, this actually wouldn’t surprise me. Nothing really does anymore.
In fact, I’m going to come out and say that the Hamptons needs to respond by replacing all police vehicles with the Bugatti Veyron. That’ll show’em what real money can do.
