Shelter Island resident Old Man McGumbus, 104-years-old, current Commanding Speaker for the Shelter Island Board of Oil and Gas Exploration and former World War II Power Forward gunner, announced through his weekly newsletter that he has landed a movie deal for a biopic based on his life.
“Thanks to major financing being brought in by the Countess of Peret in France and Bert Whiffle, I’m pleased to announce the newly formed movie studio, Bullet Pictures, and the $36 million budget for the production of a movie based on my life. I’m greatly looking forward to it and I’m sure that Chris will do a great job.”
