Susan Lucci Hosting Bay Street Gala
Hamptons resident and iconic soap star Susan Lucci will be hosting Bay Street Theatre‘s annual gala on July 20.
Lucci, who played Erica Kane on ABC‘s All My Children, is returning to Discovery ID this summer for season two of Deadly Affairs, a true crime series about love gone wrong, and she is also starring in Marc Cherry‘s highly anticipated new Lifetime series, Devious Maids, which airs on Sunday, June 23. Cherry is well known for writing and producing the hit ABC series Desperate Housewives.
In even more exciting news, fans might get to see Lucci return to All My Children. In late February, Lucci told the ladies of The View that she’d like to reprise her role on the popular daytime soap. “I want with all my heart to return to All My Children,” the actress said. “I just don’t know the answer yet. But what I do know is that all of us—all of us—are working so hard to make that happen.”
It appears Lucci may have another busy year.
Bay Street Theatre‘s “Rock the Dock“ Summer Benefit Bash begins at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 20. The event is the not-for-profit theater’s biggest fundraiser of the year and it promises to be a star-studded affair. For ticket information, call Jessica Lemire or Mary Ellen DiPrisco at 631-725-0818 and keep an eye on baysteet.org for more info.
