Ben Watts Launches WattsUp Rosé at Navy Beach in Montauk
British fashion photographer Ben Watts and Wine Awesomeness launched WattsUp Rosé, a limited edition blush wine. WattsUp Rosé marks Ben’s latest branded product offering and the first of what will be a series of upcoming collaborations for innovative wine producer and e-tailer Wine Awesomeness. Last weekend a party was thrown at Navy Beach in Montauk where you can purchase the wine.
Sole East, The Montauk Yacht Club and the Surf Lodge also will be selling the wine.
The rose was first conceived when Luke Correale, Brad Ball, Dale Slear and Logan Lee, Wine Awesomeness’ four partners, learned of Ben’s preference for rosé and infamous 4th of July Shark Attack Sounds party through social media. One of Ben’s playful attempts to create his own branded rosé in Montauk last summer prompted a call from Wine Awesomeness and a partnership was forged.
A limited run of 8,000 bottles of Watts Up Rosé will be sold online for $18 each and in packs of 3, 6 and 12 bottles at wineawesomeness.com. The wine will also be distributed in Montauk and Miami at select hotels and retailers.
