Celebrate 7-Eleven Day with Free Slurpees on 7/11

Thursday July 11, or 7/11 is “7-Eleven Day,” according to your favorite local 24-hour convenience store, and they’re celebrating by giving away free Slurpees from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. tomorrow.

As part of the nationwide 7-Eleven Day Dance Party promotion, the company has created a “Slurpee Dance” and is asking fans to create their own Slurpee Dance videos. Don’t worry, 7-Eleven is providing a dubstep-tastic soundtrack, so all you need to do is download, listen and boogie.

If you still need help getting motivated or just want someone to cheer you on, download the 7-Eleven Day mascot Pam the chinchilla and her motivational phrases here. “Meet Pam, your new best pal. Pam is here to make sure you dominate. And she most certainly will,” 7-Eleven’s website notes, adding, “She’s your life coach, sensei and not-so-secret admirer rolled into one.” Pam comes with a series of phrases, including “Work it Girl,” “You Can Do It,” “Great Job” and “Follow Your Dreams.”

And remember, when the dancing done and you’re cooling off with a free, ice cold Slurpee, don’t drink it too fast. Brain freeze can be a bummer on any summer day.
