Itzhak Perlman to Rehearse with East End String Students
East End Arts has announced that some 50 string instrument students from across Long Island, ages 8–18 studying violin, viola, cello, and double bass, are rehearsing throughout the month of July in preparation for an opportunity to work under the baton of internationally acclaimed violin virtuoso and conductor Maestro Itzhak Perlman in an Open Rehearsal on Thursday, August 1 at Southold High School (420 Oaklawn Avenue) on the North Fork.
For the second consecutive year, East End Arts has collaborated with the Perlman Music Program offering talented local musicians this great opportunity and experience.
