July 4th Fireworks Ready to Go Off on the East End

Happy Fourth of July! Independence Day celebrations are filling the day everywhere here on the East End, and once the sun goes down, it’s time to start looking up! Here’s where you’ll find July 4 fireworks on the North and South Forks tonight.

Stars Over Montauk Fireworks
 9 p.m.

Try to make your way out to The End early, because traffic tends to get heavy right before the start of this Grucci display. Don’t worry if you can’t make it to the preferred Umbrella Beach destination—these beauties can be seen from any beach in town. Rain date: July 5. 631-668-2428.

Independence Day Celebration in Riverhead 
9:15 p.m.

These fireworks will take place on the Peconic Riverfront following a musical performance. NOTE: Bring something to sit on, such as a blanket.

Westhampton Country Club Fireworks 
10 p.m.

Club grounds are not open to non-members, but the fireworks well be visible from numerous locations in Westhampton (including the green across the street), so keep an eye to the sky! 35 Potunk Lane, Westhampton Beach. 631-288-1148
