Gentleman Poet Lucas Hunt and Matthew Frazier Read in Southampton

Hamptons Gentleman Poet Lucas Hunt is holding a special reading with poet Matthew Frazier, the first on his Hunt & Light poetry imprint, at Mark Humphrey Gallery in Southampton on Saturday, August 24.

Dedicated to furthering the voice of American poets, Hunt & Light published Frazier’s debut poetry collection Original Message this spring. Both Frazier and Hunt, who will read from his collection Lives, will share their voices and be available to sign books for the gallery audience.

Hunt is an agent for the Philip G. Spitzer Literary Agency in East Hampton, but he’s dedicated many of his off hours to the art of poetry and spreading the “gentleman poet” aesthetic, which will eventually a line of clothing and accessories. Hunt & Light is currently publishing one poet per year and promoting him or her over a 12-month cycle, until the next is published the following year.
