Mazel! Watch What Happens Live is on YouTube
Bravo Media announced Friday the launch of the new “Watch What Happens Live Clubhouse!” YouTube Channel to give fans a new outlet for exclusive and original content, featuring Watch What Happens Live host and Hamptons resident Andy Cohen, the many Bravolebrities from the network’s reality shows, as well as some well known YouTube sensations.
“The YouTube Clubhouse! channel creates a whole new experience for Watch What Happens fans,” said Cohen, who also serves as one of the show’s Executive Producers and Executive Vice President, Development & Talent for Bravo. “It will feature a round-up of memorable clips from the on-air show, paired with fresh skits we’re creating exclusively for the channel.”
Bravo’s Clubhouse! channel went live at 2 p.m. yesterday, August 2 with a livestream of Cohen and YouTube star Tyler Oakley discussing the evolution of the show from a web series to a live, five-night-a-week, on-air success. Cohen also offered some behind-the-scenes scoop and favorite moments from his Watch What Happens Live—television’s most interactive late-night talk show.
The channel will feature a number of shows, including:
“Bucket O’ Dirt,” in which Cohen has guests write down a random question off camera, sign it and drop it in a big bedazzled bucket. These questions will then be asked to celebrities on future episodes. Imagine the combinations—Alexis Bellino answering a question from Ethan Hawke, or Melissa Gorga answering a question from Kim D!
“Green Rooms,” a behind-the-scenes show featuring celebrities in green rooms. Bravo will equip celebs with Flip Cams and have them record anything they want.
“Andy’s Rehearsal,” where Cohen does a lot of goofy stuff behind the scenes, showing fans of what he’s like off-camera.
“Battle of The Bravolebrities,”a revealing look at the network’s stars and how well they really know—or don’t know—about each other’s shows. This segment will pit two Bravolebrities in a head-to-head trivia battle where they have to answer questions about Bravo programming.
