Katie Couric Gets Engaged in East Hampton

Over Labor Day weekend, television news personality Katie Couric got engaged to 50-year-old financier John Molner in East Hampton.

Couric, who has a home in East Hampton, has been with Molner for a year and a half.

“When you came out, you blinded everyone with that ring,” Jimmy Fallon told Couric when she visited Late Night last week.

She explained that Molner brought her to the beach with a bottle of rosé and caught her completely off guard with his proposal and the ring.
