Taylor Swift Will Sing on Jennifer Lopez's New Album
Water Mill resident Jennifer Lopez is working on a new track with pop-country superstar Taylor Swift, according to US Weekly.
Both singers are fans of each other, and the diva duo’s combined star power should be enough to make the song a mega hit when it’s released on Lopez’s eighth album in early 2014.
Lopez recently joined Swift onstage at L.A.’s Staples Center as a guest performer for the 23-year-old country singer’s final Red Tour show on August 24. The pair sang “Jenny from the Block” and Swift shared her glee about it with fans over Twitter after the show.
“Sang Jenny From the Block with @JLo tonight at Staples Center. STILL FANGIRLING OUT ABOUT IT,” Swift wrote.
Lopez tweeted back, telling Swift she also had a blast.
In other JLo-related news, the 44-year-old singer is returning to judge American Idol‘s upcoming Season 13, and it was recently announced that crooner Harry Connick Jr. will join her and Keith Urban as the show’s much anticipated third judge.
American Idol Season 13 airs in January 2014 on Fox.
