Whether it’s served in a chocolate shell or a cool, angled glass, with diced strawberries or extra whipped cream, chef Mark Militello’s deconstructed take on the classic dessert never fails to please. The mix of summer strawberry, underbaked cheesecake, graham cracker and walnut crust, and fresh whipped cream is melt-in-your-mouth good, even if it’s already melted before you pick up a spoon. It’s sweet, but not overwhelmingly so.
