Judge Orders Former Restaurant Owner to Pay Up $53,409 to Staff

The former owner of the Trata restaurants, including a Water Mill location that has since changed hands, has been delinquent is paying out a settlement to former staff members who sued over unpaid wages and tips, according to law360.com.
The report states that a New York magistrate judge had ordered Orama Inc. to pony up the last $53,409.10 of a $150,000 settlement with 13 servers, which includes attorneys’ fees.
