Billy Joel Visits Jimmy Fallon, Makes Plans to Crash WLNG
Billy Joel was Jimmy Fallon‘s guest Thursday night on The Tonight Show, and the pair of Hamptons residents made grand plans for the future.
Joel announced that he will be getting his own Sirius XM satellite radio channel soon, which led Joel, of Sag Harbor, and Fallon, of Sagaponack, into a conversation about wanting to crash Sag Harbor oldies station WLNG 92.1.
“It’s a great radio station.” Fallon said.
Joel suggests they go there at night, “when they least suspect it.” He also pointed out that he lives right new the station, which is in the Redwood section of Sag Harbor.
“WLNG look out,” Fallon said. “We’re gonna be crashing that station. Billy Joel and I. This summer.”

Joel and Fallon also perform “The Lions Sleeps Tonight” with the aid of a voice looping app, to become a two-man doowop group.
