The Petulant Wino to Replace Comtesse Thérèse Bistro

Comtesse Thérèse Vineyard in Aquebogue has decided to close its bistro after three and a half years and now lease the space to restaurateur Tom Schaudel, who is naming the new business The Petulant Wino.
According to Comtesse Thérèse’s website, Schaudel owns several other restaurants on the North Fork and elsewhere on Long Island.
“Tom’s newest restaurant is sure to be a welcome addition to the North Fork food and wine scene,” Comtesse Thérèse stated. The 28-seat restaurant is inside an 1830s house.
The restaurant will have a full liquor license and serve Comtesse Thérèse wines as well as other Long Island wines.
Comtesse Thérèse Bistro gift certificates will be accepted at The Petulant Wino.
