Anderson Cooper Lists Second Quiogue Home for $3 Million
Back in 2011, Anderson Cooper bought the house next door to his Quiogue abode and renovated it, and now he has put the house back on the market for $3 million, hoping to earn $1.3 million on the sale, minus expenses.
He purchased the home for $1.7 million, then poured some money into updating it.
Located at 12 St. George Place, the 2.4-acre state fronting Aspatuck Creek is where the late Budd Schulberg (1914-2009) wrote the Academy Award-winning screenplay for the 1950s classic On the Waterfront. It has five bedrooms and five-and-a-half baths. Cooper had the home updated and decorated by a top designer.
The estate also includes a 20′-by-40′ heated Gunite pool with jacuzzi, and a pool house with full bath.
Cooper previously listed 12 St. George Place for rent, asking $150,000 for Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day.
