Bridgehampton Fire Department was first to respond to the house fire Saturday, at 5:53 a.m. The Amagansett, East Hampton, Sag Harbor, North Sea, Southampton and Hampton Bays fire departments were subsequently brought in. Southampton Town and Suffolk County fire marshals investigated the cause of the fire, and the Suffolk County Arson Squad and Southampton Town Police Department detectives also responded.
