Patricia Wright Named Nurse of Excellence

Patricia Wright, RN, of the Southampton Hospital Kathleen D. Allen Maternity Center, is the recipient of the 2014 Nurse of Excellence Award.

The annual award from the Nassau-Suffolk Hospital Council recognizes nurses who demonstrate both exceptional leadership and clinical practice.

Wright was honored in a ceremony at the Woodbury Country Club on May 21 among colleagues and fellow nurses from throughout Long Island. She was among 24 nominees for the award, with one nurse from each of the Nassau-Suffolk Hospital Council’s member hospitals being nominated.
