Alec Baldwin Helps Cut the Ribbon on East Hampton Library Addition
Alec Baldwin, who donated $1,275,000 to the Children’s Addition at East Hampton Library, helped the library cut the ribbon at the grand opening celebration on Saturday.
Baldwin was joined by wife Hilaria Baldwin and baby Carmen at the ceremony, with featured a performance by the East Hampton Middle School Bonnettes singers and speeches by elected officials including East Hampton Town Supervisor Larry Cantwell, New York State Assemblyman Fred Thiele and New York State Senator Ken LaValle.
An event space in the new addition will be named the Baldwin Family Lecture Room in recognition of his contributions.
Baldwin had a busy Hamptons weekend; he also hosted a screening of Life Itself for the Hamptons International SummerDocs series at Guild Hall.
