Kelly Ripa to Broadcast Live from Super Saturday 17

For the 17th consecutive year, Emmy-winning television personality and Water Mill resident Kelly Ripa is promoting QVC Presents Super Saturday LIVE to broadcast from Super Saturday, the famous discount designer charity sale.

Super Saturday 17 begins at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 26, in Water Mill.

Ripa will host this year’s event along with designer and fellow Hamptons resident Donna Karan. The sale features fashion, beauty, jewelry, accessories and home sales at half the retail price. 80 percent of sales benefit the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund.

Advertisements for QVC’s broadcast featuring Ripa will run both in print and broadcast PSAs. QVC is a presenting sponsor of Super Saturday 17. Donna Karan New York is also a sponsor of the event.

Highlights of the QVC broadcast include discounted jewelry and handbags from Alex and Ani, Dooney and Burke, Emma & Sophia, Jai John Hardy and Amrita Singh.

The charity event held at Nova’s Ark Project has evolved into a Hamptons summer tradition, with numerous East End celebrities coming out for the annual sale. Last year’s event alone raised $3.7 million for OCRF.

In addition to the QVC broadcast, Super Saturday features an expansive garage sale with tables featuring donations from countless well-known designers and name brands. This year, designers such as alice + olivia, Diane von Furstenburg, Elie Tahari, Nicole Miller, Ralph Lauren and Shoshanna are just a few of those included. Popular lines such as Club Monaco, Free People, J Brand and Vineyard Vines will also all have tables.

Karan will have numerous tables, with DKNY, Donna Karan New York and Urban Zen all among the brands available.

The all-day event includes manicures, raffles and fortune tellers, as well as a kids carnival. The family-friendly atmosphere is complete with rides and games for children to enjoy while the rest of the family enjoys the shopping experience.

Tickets and VIP tables can be purchased online or by calling 212-268-1002. Regular adult tickets for 1 p.m. entry are $450 each and kids tickets for ages 5–16 are $150. Shoppers can get in an hour earlier at noon for $650. Preview tickets include a packed goodie bag. VIP Preview tickets for $850 also include VIP Tent access.
