Townline BBQ to Bless New Smoker Saturday, Holds Naming Contest

The taste of Sagaponack’s Townline BBQ is now available to the rest of the Hamptons with its new mobile smoker.
Townline BBQ celebrates the debut of the addition at this Saturday’s Blessing of the Smoker party.
From 3 to 6 p.m., guests can sample food from the smoker and $2 drafts of Montauk Brewing Company Driftwood Ale and Summer Ale cans. The normal restaurant menu will also be available to attendees.
WEHM radio will be live broadcasting the event until 5 p.m. with host Anthony of The Morning Show With Anthony. The broadcast will feature numerous concert ticket giveaways. Tickets include shows featuring Iron & Wine and Ben Folds. Additionally, tickets to see B.B. King at The Great South Bay Music Festival are up for a prize.
Townline BBQ is leaving the name of the new mobile smoker up to the public in a contest to run through Saturday’s event. To enter, post a suggestion in a comment on their Facebook page or post on Instagram with the hashtag #tlbbqonwheels. The winner will get a special lesson from chef Joe Realmuto on Saturday where they will learn Townline-style cooking on the mobile smoker. A package of Townline BBQ ingredients including sauces and rubs will also be presented to the winner.
Saturday’s event is open to anyone and does not require advance registration. Visit Townline BBQ’s Facebook page or anthonyonair.com for more information regarding the “Blessing of the Smoker” party and corresponding live broadcast.
