Seeing so many old friends.

What have been the biggest and best changes you’ve witnessed in the culinary culture of the East End in the past 5 years?
So many more farmers markets organic farms and access to local grass fed beef and organic chicken.
When you hear the phrase “local,” what comes to mind?
The many relationships I have cultivated with fishermen and farmers over the last twenty five years and how they are all dinning in my restaurant somewhat regularly.
Where do you find inspiration, inside and outside the kitchen?
From my family and my yoga practice
What’s your favorite food- or drink- (or both!) related song and why:
“Alice’s Restaurant” by Arlo Guthrie it’s an iconic tradition and thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday.
If you were packing for an East End picnic, what are 3 things we’d find in your basket?
A great salad with plenty of raw vegetables, raw corn chowder or gazpacho and guacamole
What drink are you looking forward to enjoying on a hot summer night?
A “FRESH” organic margarita a glass of rosé or a local beer.
