Kenneth Wright Elected Chairman of Southampton Hospital Board

Southampton Hospital has announced new board leadership.

At its July 12 meeting, the hospital’s board of directors elected Kenneth B. Wright as chair. A hospital board member since 2004, Wright was previously Co-Vice Chair of the board along with Richard J. Hiegel, Esq. and currently serves on the following committees: executive, facilities and properties, finance and budget and public affairs.

Wright succeeds the Reverend Peter Larsen, who was a member of the board for 15 years and served 10 years as chair.

Born at Southampton Hospital, Wright is the son of the late Kenneth B. Wright, M,D., who served as chief of surgery at the hospital. He is a resident of Southampton and founder of Wright & Company Construction Inc., with offices in Bridgehampton.
