Nicky Hilton Enjoys a Bella Smoothie at SoulCycle in Water Mill
The purveyors of Bella Housewares got a nice surprise at SoulCycle in Water Mill on Saturday when fashion icon Nicky Hilton dropped by their pop-up juice bar to enjoy a smoothie after spin class.
The hotel heiress, Southamptonite and author of upcoming book 365 Style enjoyed a banana, berry and almond smoothie, known as the “Bella Berry Smoothie,” blended in Bella’s Rocket Extract Pro demo blender. “It’s the perfect little post-workout meal,” Hilton said of the drink, while discussing the benefits of its ingredients and generously posing for pictures.
Bananas are high in the “good” kinds of carbs one needs after a workout and they help rebuild damaged muscles while also providing lots of potassium. Almonds have protein to keep you full and satisfied post-workout, and the nuts add texture to the smoothie. Benefits aside, Hilton said she likes the flavor. “I really like the sweet fruits, so the strawberries and blueberries are perfect,” she said, explaining, “There’s a big juice culture in LA, so I’ve been into juices and smoothies since I was a teenager.”
To make two servings of the Bella Berry Smoothie, you’ll need 5 strawberries, 1 banana, 1 handful blueberries and 1 handful almonds. Just blend them all together and delight in the results!
Bella has been popping up with their juice bar/smoothie station at Soul Cycle in Water Mill (760 Montauk Highway) this summer, providing guests with pre- and post-workout fuel. Find out more at bellahousewares.com.
