First Look: Revenge Season 4 Teaser Released

Revenge fans—including the DansPapers.com editors—were giddy with excitement on Monday after EmilyThorne.org released a teaser for the show’s hotly anticipated fourth season.
The trailer (embedded below) was filmed off the television during the East Coast airing of Castle on ABC Sunday, so it’s not exactly high resolution, but the 29-second preview is still totally exciting. From start to finish, the video turns Revenge on its head and delivers the narrative from mean queen Victoria Grayson‘s (Madeleine Stowe) point of view—though Lee Meyer, our resident expert on all things Revenge, says it’s unlikely Season 4 will actually put her in the lead role. If fans recall, Season 3 ended with Victoria committed to a mental hospital, but she’s finally hip to Emily Thorne’s (Emily VanCamp) true identity: Amanda Clarke. (READ OUR RECAP)
“My name is Victoria Grayson and I have a story to tell…” the trailer begins, bringing viewers into Victoria’s world like never before. After listing all the terrible, damaging things Emily/Amanda has done to her family over the past three years, Victoria adds, “When everything you love has been stolen from you, someone has to pay.”
Along with whatever madness comes between Victoria and Emily, we can also look forward to the addition of Emily’s recently-revealed-to-be-alive father, and Victoria’s former lover, David Clarke! Played by James Tupper, David was presumed dead and only shown in flashbacks during before the Season 3 finale. Now, Victoria and Emily will battle for his affections, and with years off the grid behind him, there’s no telling which way David will turn.
A brand new character, Ben, has also been revealed for Season 4. This fresh hunk, played by Brian Hallisay (of The Client List and Mistresses), is a local cop and friend of Jack, who also happens to fill the stud void left following Aiden’s unsettling demise at the hands of Victoria.
Expect much more gossip and scoop to be revealed as we get closer to the Revenge Season 4 premiere next month!
Save the Date: Revenge, Season 4 begins airing on ABC Sunday, September 28 at 10 p.m.
