Alec Baldwin Presented with Friend of Italy Award
The Capri, Hollywood International Film Festival presented Amagansett’s Alec Baldwin with the Friend of Italy Award this weekend in Rome in recognition of his efforts to promote Italian culture abroad.
He accepted the award on the heels of his latest film, Andron – The Black Labyrinth, wrapping. Francesco Cinquemani directs and Baldwin costars in the sci-fi/action film with Danny Glover.
“I love to shoot in Italy, and in Rome especially—I look forward to coming back,” Baldwin told reporters.
Baldwin previously filmed in Italy when he starred in Woody Allen‘s 2012 To Rome with Love.
Baldwin brought wife Hilaria Baldwin and daughter Carmen Gabriela Baldwin with him to Rome and, based on Hilaria’s Instagram, it appears they are enjoying themselves.
