Aviva Drescher Out at 'RHONY,' Heads to 'Marriage Boot Camp'

Real Housewives of New York City star Aviva Drescher won’t be returning for season 7—she’s off to Marriage Boot Camp instead.

Drescher, who shocked viewers last season by throwing her prosthetic leg in a restaurant, was reportedly fired after two seasons on the Bravo show. But that doesn’t mean she won’t be on television.

She, along with husband Reid Drescher, will become part of the fourth season of WE tv’s Marriage Boot Camp, in which husband-and-wife marriage counseling team Jim and Elizabeth Carroll gather reality TV couples in a Los Angeles house for six weeks of exercises to improve their marriages.

Meanwhile Countess LuAnn de Lesseps, who merely had a recurring role during this most recent season of Real Housewives of New York City, will return as a full-time cast member.
