North Fork Table & Inn Put on the Market
Acclaimed chef Gerard Hayden’s North Fork Table & Inn in Southold has been put on the market—both the building itself and the business.
The price tag for The North Fork Table & Inn—the number 1 Zagat-rated restaurant on Long Island—is $3.8 million, and that includes the popular Lunch Truck. The inn has four guest rooms plus additional bedrooms that are currently being used for offices and storage.
Lee Minetree, an associate real estate broker with Saunders & Associates, says the establishment has been for sale for a couple weeks now. The building is 7,500 square feet on a plot that is just larger than 1 acre.
The business continues to operate while it is up for sale.
Though the restaurant is immensely popular, Hayden has health struggles. He was diagnosed in 2011 with ALS, a progressive neurodegenerative disease often called Lou Gehrig’s Disease.
North Fork Table & Inn is located at North Fork Table & Inn, 57225 Main Road, Southold.
