Actor and comic Gilbert Gottfried was in Riverhead Friday night to perform stand-up at Suffolk Theater.
Playing to a packed house, Gottfried offered his high-energy and offensive brand of comedy. He touched on his 2011 firing as the voice of the Aflac duck, over jokes he made about the tsunami in Japan. He also rattled off jokes from his Dirty Jokes DVD, and did some prop comedy with some items found around the theater, including napkins and serving trays.
Three-time Emmy winner Dave Konig was the opening act. Konig is known for his Metro TV series Konig Underground.
