New Projects on the Way for Alec Baldwin, Joy Behar and More East Enders
The Hamptons International Film Festival will showcase a number of local stars over the course of Columbus Day Weekend, but the silver screen and small screen alike have plenty of East Enders coming their way with other new projects as well. Alec Baldwin has signed on to voice the lead character in DreamWorks Animation’s Boss Baby, a family comedy about an evil-fighting baby and his older brother, slated for release in March 2016. Joy Behar will star in Me, My Mouth and I, a solo show about the comedienne’s experiences growing up in Brooklyn, working on The View and everything in between, at New York’s Cherry Lane Theatre this fall; previews begin Nov. 6. Sean Avery, former New York Ranger and current Hamptons resident, will soon star in Negative Is Positive, a play by Christy Smith-Sloman, at New York’s Theater for the New City, opening November 6.
