Scarlett Johansson Is One of Barbara Walters' Most Fascinating People

Though the full list has yet to be revealed, it’s confirmed that Amagansett’s Scarlett Johansson has been named among Barbara Walters‘ 10 Most Fascinating People of 2014.
The 29-year-old actress and new mom—who is also 76 on Forbes‘ Celebrity 100—has been in the public eye for quite some time, but her star only continues to rise.
Following breakout roles in 2001’s Ghost World and 2003’s Lost in Translation, Johansson became one of Woody Allen‘s favorite actresses and he cast her in films including Match Point and Vicky Cristina Barcelona.
In 2010, she made her debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as super spy Natasha Romanoff, a.k.a. Black Widow, in Iron Man 2. She went on to reprise the role in The Avengers and Captain America: The Winter Soldier and she will be featured prominently in May 2015’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron.
Johansson is also set to star in the TV adapatation of Edith Wharton’s 1913 novel The Custom of the Country, about a New York social climber.
Also making the 10 Most Fascinating People list are Oprah Winfrey, Chelsea Handler and Neil Patrick Harris.
The ABC special will air Sunday, December 14, at 9 p.m.
