Westhampton Beach Oyster Festival 2014 Is Saturday
The Kiwanis Club of Greater Westhampton presents the third annual Westhampton Beach Oyster Festival on Saturday, October 11, designed for kids and adults.
Food vendors will serve raw and fried oysters, crab cakes, calamari, lobster rolls, custom crepes, barbecue and more. Hot dogs, juice boxes and ice cream will be served for kids.
Between noon and 2 p.m., help judge the New England Clam Chowder Contest.
Entertainment includes Jester Jim, interactive Pirate Shows and music by Yankee Rebel, Dune Local and DJ Bill.
There will be interactive educational activities as well and kids can paint pumpkins and get their faces painted. Children may play on the Bounce House, obstacle courses and slides.
The festival takes place at the Westhampton Beach Marina on Library Avenue. A free shuttle will connect the festival to Main Street.
The cost is $10 per adult and $5 per child, or $25 per family. The festival will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
