Edgar Allan Poe Festival Parade in Riverhead

Downtown Riverhead set the scene for a three-day Halloween extravaganza. The Edgar Allan Poe Festival is a family-oriented celebration with a performer portraying Edgar Allan Poe, as well as many of his literary characters. The weekend of activities kicked off with trick-or-treat stations along Main Street, free Witches Brew at the Blue Duck Bakery Cafe’, storytelling and book readings by local authors and a parade.
