Cops: Credit Card Stolen from Truck in Quogue Used Around County
A credit card stolen in Quogue in November was used to make several purchases, and now Quogue Village Police Department and Suffolk County Crime Stoppers are looking for help to identify a suspect.
According to Crime Stoppers, the credit card and a stereo were stolen from a Ford F250 parked on Quogue Plaza Trail between November 20 and 21. Then on November 21, the card was used at Valero in Eastport, Home Depot in Bellport and Lowes in East Patchogue.
The suspect was driving a white pickup truck with colored lights underneath, police said.
Surveillence video captured the face, and the truck, of the man who used the card. Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call 1-800-220-TIPS.
