Mariska Hargitay Returns to 'SVU' Director's Chair

Monday was day one of filming for Mariska Hargitay‘s second turn as director of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

Hargitay, of East Hampton, last directed in February, with special guest stars Alec Baldwin, of Amagansett, and Katie Couric, also of East Hampton. (This past Saturday, Hargitey and Baldwin participated in the “Hamptons Turkey Bowl” in East Hampton.)

This time, Hargitay and the SVU writers are sharing behind-scenes-photos on Twitter and Instagram with the hashtag #CecilBHargitay, a reference to legendary film director and producer Cecil B. DeMille.
