Snow Causes Hazardous Road Conditions on the East End

The National Weather Service is warning of hazardous travel conditions on Long Island Friday, January 9, due to accumulating snow.

Heavy snowfall is expected to continue through noon. Some locations could receive an inch of snow accumulation per hour. Wind gusts of up to 25 miles per hour could cause brief whiteout conditions.
