Alec Baldwin is reportedly staying put in Amagansett—despite rumors he bought a new place in East Hampton—and is remodeling his current residence, the historic Nathaniel Baker House.
The East Hampton Star reports that Baldwin has had a portion of the house torn down for a “substantial renovation.”
The Nathaniel Baker House, located on Stony Hill Farm, was originally constructed on Main Street in the early-18th century and was expanded into a two-story house in the 1790s, according to The Star. It was moved to Town Lane in 1913.
Baldwin bought the house in 1996.
