Amazon Picks Up 'Stinky & Dirty Show' for a Season
The Amazon Studios pilot of The Stinky & Dirty Show, based on the books by Sag Harbor’s Kate McMullan and Jim McMullan, went over so well that the show has been picked up for an entire season.
The series, aimed at preschoolers, featuring the voices of Jacob Guenther and Ethan Walker. Amazon Studios says The Stinky & Dirty Show is about, “The adventures of best friends and unlikely heroes, Stinky the garbage truck and Dirty the backhoe loader, a dynamic and hilarious duo of resourcefulness that learn that when things don’t go as expected, asking ‘what if’ can lead to success.”
The pilot episode was released January 15 as part of Amazon Studios’ Pilot Season, in which numerous pilots for a variety of shows are released for free, with the most successful shows being picked up for a season.
