Cops: Louis Vuitton Handbag Reported Damaged

East Hampton Village police responded Saturday, Valentine’s Day, to a local inn, where a woman reported her Louis Vuitton bag was damaged.

According to the incident report, the Louis Vuitton Neverfull handbag suffered damaged when the staff brought her bags to her room from her car.

A police officer informed the complainant “this was not a criminal matter.” The officer also spoke to the manager, who said if the woman got a quote for repairing the bag, the inn “would take care of it.”

In other East Hampton Village police news, on February 11 someone contacted police to report a swan in the roadway at Montauk Highway and Stephen Hands Path. When a police officer arrived, the swan was gone.
